This policy explains how MagsInc collects and uses personal information through this website, in line with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). Last updated 26 October 2026.

What we collect

Only what you give us through the contact form: your name, email address, company (optional) and the message you write. Our web server also keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.

Why we collect it

To read and respond to your enquiry, and to follow up on it. We ask for your consent on the form before you send it. We do not use your details for marketing unless you ask us to.

Who sees it

Your message is emailed to our team at letstalk@magsinc.co.za. We do not sell your information. It may be handled by service providers that host this website or deliver our email, and they may only use it on our behalf. We disclose information if the law requires us to.

Cookies and third parties

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers and your IP address is shared with Google when a page loads. The “Get directions” link opens Google Maps only if you click it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting business relationship, or as the law requires, and then delete them.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as ID numbers or bank details through the form.

Your rights

You may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You may also object to our processing of it or withdraw your consent at any time. Email letstalk@magsinc.co.za and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Complaints

If you believe we have not handled your information properly, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, for example by adding analytics, we will update this page and the date above.
